Should we send notices to the clerk of courts as a wo/man in regards to correction of records for persons or should we use their forms for that? I have recently had a handful of traffic charges dropped and it has been months that they have been showing as closed and clear on the clerk of courts website/records, but they have failed to update the dmv. I believe we should send this type of notice, however I ask to make sure, and more specifically, i would like to know if we should address the wo/man whom at times acts as the clerk of courts or if we address the clerk of courts as an agency/organization.

Answers in Module 3. Notice to the DMV to update according to whatever documentation you have from your local clerk of courts (yes, print out the web page from the clerk of courts and send it as an attachment.)
thank you Cristina. just yesterday, before reading your message today, i sent in notice, via the online court access portal, directly to an email i found in their system for the man acting as clerk of courts, and i just checked and they updated everything and removed the penalty that was in error! so yes 🙂 i totally works. and yes, i took screenshots of everything and included it with the notice as evidence. thank you
