I’m in the UK and our council has installed some Low Traffic zones in our neighbourhood where if you enter with your car past a certain point you need to pay a fine. The council claims that this is to encourage active means of transport and reduce fumes and improve air quality. Now I’m all up for that but I dont agree with the scheme because i think its not well planned and does not do what it claims to. Given these beliefs how would you go about if you got a fine send to your address?

Probably this is for Greg, last year I bought a part of a property in a governement scheme called shared ownership in the UK. Its quite a complicated scheme and basically you own a share of a property and the rest is owned by a housing association and you pay rent to them for the remaining part. After we moved in, the building company noticed a leak in a property adjacent to ours. After investigation that took two months, they found the leak was coming from our flat. The house is under guarantee for the next two years. The leak is due to a mistake during the building process. The damage made will take a while until is fixed because it needs to dry out before being repaired. The people from the building company are dealing with it in a good and timely manner but its a long process because of the nature of the problem. So my understanding is that the company brings forth remedy through their actions so far but in reality my life and usage of the space is in compromise since and will be for some time going forward. How would you approach that? would you claim some compensation? Would you inform them from now that you are planning to do that after the end of the whole process or would you leave that after everything is done? I’m ready to write the first correspondence with them acknowledging what has happened so far and wondering if I should inform them about future compensation.

Back in one of the early modules Jon talks about capitalization of corporations, names on thumbstones and on our bills: “they are sending them [the bills] to your trust” he says. It is my understanding that the trust/bond created with the issuance of either the birth certificate or the Social Insurance Number draws its value from our life energy and from our labor and the promise of our future labour, as Greg so beautifully explains in “Understanding Law And The Nature Of Society”. Even though this numbers and bonds don’t have anything to do with us in reality, as we have not created them, isn’t this a sort of “karmic weight” on our souls? aren’t all sorts of bad things perpetrated using the capitalization of our life energy? even if i extricate myself emotionally and practically from the game, moving everything in the private, that bond/trust keeps being traded, my promise of labour/life energy is still being manipulated and extracted. Since we can’t stop it unless we go rogue on society, don’t we have right to claim that resource? is this something any of you tried in your adventures as “freemen on the land”? do you know how to claim it?
